What are Bridges?
A bridge is a fixed appliance that has one to two prosthetic teeth on it, but on either end has a functional crown. Each end of the bridge is supported by a healthy tooth next to the one that is missing. Once cemented into place, the prosthesis “bridges” the space between your healthy teeth.
Your Bridge Treatment
The bridge treatment process involves two separate appointments. At the first visit, the supporting teeth will be adjusted and an impression is taken. We use this impression to create a model of your mouth and a custom-fitted restoration. Within two weeks your permanent bridge will be ready and all you need is a short trip to our office for it to be bonded into place.
Our dental bridge options can also be placed on fixed dental implants, allowing you to replace as many as 4 or 5 teeth at one time. Schedule a consultation with us to find out which option is right for you.
